Just Imagine...
Just imagine being a teenage mother bearing a child, not of her own fault, but because of greater things in store. Chosen to glorify God by carrying, not only a beautiful child, but the savior of the world who has come to rescue her as well.

Just imagine being the fiance of said teenage girl who feels betrayed. What to believe? Her word or common sense? Imagine being hit with the truth by an angel saying not only is this not her fault, but the baby will be the messiah that had been long foretold.

Just imagine being the Magi wanting to find the young “King of the Jews”, but also being double agents for a horrible king threatened by the arrival of a baby king. Being led by a star with the sole purpose not to light up the sky, but to light their way to the king. Being brought down to their knees in the presence of the little messiah, giving praise, honor, and gifts to Him. Imagine deserting the evil ways of their leader for goodness that obedience to God gives.

Just imagine being the innkeeper who was unable to properly shelter a pregnant woman who is nearing the birth of her child. Little did he know that this baby was not just another baby, but a king. But sacrifices his stable to give setting to one of the most unusual, but important, births in history.

Just imagine being average shepherds minding their own business being interrupted by a choir of magnificent angels. The confusion that occurred as these angels gave praise to God for sending His son. The intrigue that happened as the shepherds were directed to the location of the king who would save them. The amazement as they saw their king, not on a throne, but a manger as a newborn baby.

Just imagine a world where everyone followed the example of the life of this baby. To love others unconditionally, including the unloveable. To lend a hand to, not only your neighbor, but the stranger who has no one to turn to. To follow God with your entire being. To obey the word God has given to us. To forgive those who have done us wrong for the wrongest wrongs.

God sent love on Christmas, so we could follow Him back home even though we are unworthy. God loves us so much that He would give us this gift to save us.
